Vincent & Brown is an award winning RIBA Chartered Architectural practice
Our ambitious team has built a portfolio of bold, beautiful, intelligent architecture in sectors as diverse as residential, commercial, leisure, heritage, civic and masterplanning for urban development. With a discerning eye and holistic approach, we deliver solutions that are architecturally, socially and intellectually coherent. We are a York based practice with extensive local knowledge and national experience.
We believe that working collaboratively with clients to understand their unique aspirations, is key to delivering innovative design. We work to create solutions that minimise risk, maximise return and exceed expectations. Our approach has allowed us to develop strong working relationships with our clients and collaborators and we continue to enjoy repeat commissions.
Each project is considered on its own merits and we develop the brief in conjunction with our client. We present innovative design solutions with imagination and flair, underpinned by our technical capability to successfully deliver that vision on site.
Enduring, considered design
We believe design is a powerful tool for good, both socially and environmentally. Since forming Vincent & Brown, Lee Vincent and Neil Brown have embedded in the practice their shared philosophy that architecture should respect the past, embrace the present and build the future. An ethos fundamental to all our heritage projects, and echoed in our smaller scale designs too, including private residential schemes.
Our experience extends beyond the region with built projects in London and major cities throughout UK and worldwide.
We offer a full architectural design and delivery service. If you would like to find out more, please get in touch. Our dedicated team would be delighted to talk through your project and its requirements.
“Haxby and Wigginton Methodist Church is a beacon of faith and hope in the local community. We contracted Vincent & Brown to remodel and oversee the redevelopment of our church building to meet our growing and changing needs within the community. Thanks to their creative flair, transparency and ethos they have created a scheme fit for the 21st Century. They understood our brief, sought insight on our requirements and exceeded our expectations in terms of build quality, price and timescale. We are delighted with the results.”
