The Hall, Residential Care Home

Vincent & Partners have submitted applications to extend and improve this grand, early 18th Century Manor House, that sits in the heart of a quaint village in Yorkshire’s picturesque Dalby Forest. The scheme will optimise the usable space and create more accessible, flexible and functional facilities for its elderly and infirm residents. The proposals include reconfiguring the internal layout, the addition of a new garden room / conservatory and a sympathetic 2-storey extension.

With a wealth of experience in heritage and historic buildings, the team was sensitive to the character and architectural merit of the original architecture, which had been subject to a number or poorly executed extensions in the past. The proposed works sensitively marry the character and aesthetic of The Hall, both inside and out, to restore and complement its historic features.
