Rocky Lane

Planning consent was achieved to deliver 19 new dwellings on a brownfield site within an up and coming suburban location.

The site had previously been used as a dye & engineering works, with the existing in-situ building slab being taken over by vegetation.

The brief sought an appropriate mix of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom family dwellings, bringing together town house living with semi-detached properties and a small number of apartments. The dwellings are designed to respect the local vernacular whilst providing a contemporary appearance in red facing brickwork, slate tiled roofs, and delivering modern family living spaces.

This project was carried out by members of the Vincent & Brown team whilst at a previous practice.
