Proposals Submitted for Rejuvenation of King William House, Hull

Vincent & Brown have submitted a proposal in Hull Old Town Conservation Area to transform a former retail warehouse into 2 desirable leisure units.

Vincent & Brown are working alongside a local developer and incoming tenant to design a space that will benefit the local area.

The scheme will reactivate Liberty Lane by creating an inviting and welcoming streetscape. On the ground floor the existing brick work will be removed, and a new recessed ground floor façade is created to define the entrances and a generate a generous outdoor seating area along Liberty Lane.

The existing vents placed at irregular intervals along the façade will be replaced with full height windows on the first floor, inviting natural daylight into the space and creating a visual connection with the surrounding streetscape.

The redevelopment of this former warehouse will bring a vacant building back into use, adding value to the conservation area and providing new commercial space for the local and wider community to enjoy.
