Vincent & Brown are delighted to have secured planning consent for 3 contemporary dwellings in Haxby, York.
The site located on the former Driffield Brick Works, looks out over a man-made lake which was left to flood naturally once the brick works closed.
The development includes for a 2-bedroom bungalow, on the footprint of a small commercial premises, and two 5-bedroom family homes, which enjoy uninterrupted views of the lake.
The dwellings are designed in a contemporary yet sympathetic style with use of traditional materials to ensure a contextual approach. Special care was taken whilst designing the scheme to maintain a significant number of mature trees on the site.
Submitted in August 2020, Vincent & Brown along with Yew Tree Associates worked tirelessly with the Local Planning Authority to achieve a planning consent for the scheme.
